Llegamos en coche a través de las montañas de Transilvania y vimos un grupo de mujeres en el bordado en carretera haciendo. Le pregunté a esta mujer si podía tomarle una foto y ella asintió con la cabeza, sonriendo. Yo estaba feliz de atraparla tirando del hilo hacia arriba-Creo que se suma a la foto. Compramos un bordado y quedamos impresionados al saber que podría haber tenido todo esto por un par de pantalones vaqueros americanos. Por desgracia, sólo tuvimos nuestros puntos de corte y que no estábamos interesados.
We were driving through the mountains of Transylvania and saw a group of women on the roadside doing embroidery. I asked this woman if I could take her picture and she nodded, smiling. I was happy to catch her pulling the thread upwards–I think it adds to the photo. We bought a piece of embroidery and were stunned to find out we could have had all of it for a pair of American jeans. Alas, we had only our cutoffs and they weren’t interested.
